It was blowy with blustery showers so scoring was lower than usual. The Joker (B Tricky) was up to his normal tricks, trying to upset mental rythms and succeeded well with Mr Terrific, after a masterful drive, smashing three balls in a row into the 'long grass' on the left of the 13th. This upset yours truly, who having driven past him, then proceeded to hit his second into the firs to the right of the green. Ball never seen again. The Joker is to be watched! Leader this week was Atom Smasher (Pep), followed by The Joker (I did say), Kid Flash (N Pepperel) and The Locksmith (S Coomber). Etrigan the Demon was canny, not quite winning, whilst playing well. In the crisps were The Sandman, vying for 'digger of the year', yours truly (still suffering from a nasty handicap), Vulcan (G Whitworth) again and finally a new entrant, Gangbuster (J Snell). It would be useful if crispies put down their official handicap and then the shots that they expect to receive since one or two are missing bonus shots with the new rules leading to delays in the awarding of crispy shots.
